I have decided to throw my name into the 30 days, 30 paintings challenge (http://30paintingsin30days.weebly.com) begun by Leslie Saeta (http://www.saetastudio.com), author of Artists Helping Artists blog and radio show (http://artistshelpingartistsblog.blogspot.com).
I learned about the challenge from one of my favorite artists working today, David Boyd (http://compelledtopaint.blogspot.com). David is an avid artist with impressive work habits. I can’t think of another artist I’d rather accept this challenge from than David. I just hope I can keep up with him!
I should add that I am going to improvise on this a bit. Instead of attempting to create a finished 2D painting, I am going to attempt to complete a finished wall relief made from painting scraps, rolled pulp paintings, and and strips of beaten pulp.
Here is my first entry:
Nature Wall Relief, 2015. 8 x 6 inches, pulp painting and mixed media. mounted on board and ready for hanging. 100.00
