Email Subscribers Gallery

A private art gallery exclusively for email subscribers. First dibs for email subscribers until November 30 when the gallery becomes public.

This month, I am featuring paintings inspired by chrysanthemums, the official flower for November.

Chrysanthemum fun facts:

  • Chrysanthemums symbolize youth, loyalty, love, passion, friendship, and get-well-wishes in Chinese and Japanese cultures. Buddhism says that chrysanthemums emit Yang (active energy). We could all use some of that to go with our Ying.
  • Chrysanthemum blooms can be dried and made into tea. The tea is recommended by herbalists as a cooling herb for the body when it’s overheated, and can also help treat fever, sore throat, and cold symptoms in the early stages of illness.*
  • Drinking Chrysanthemum tea is even believed to prevent grey hair! Now that idea is worth a cuppa if there ever was one.

How to display: The colors will not fade or discolor when displayed in indirect sunlight. The surface is coated with an acid-free covering so it may be displayed without glass and near a water source.

Materials: These paintings and sculptures are made with abaca fiber, the strongest fiber in the world. Used by the U.S. Navy to moor ships, abaca is used to make tea bags, filament for automobiles (Mercedes Benz), and wallpaper.

Subscribers only offer: I will ship the art to you for a 14-day no-obligation trial of these paintings. Contact me to schedule delivery.
