The joy of watching and listening to the waves as they crash along the ocean’s shore inspired this small-scale free-standing sculpture. Creating free-standing ocean wave-inspired sculptures is a new direction for me.
I’ve worked on this idea for a few years and can finally share these colorful ocean wave-inspired sculptures with my collectors. The sculpture is made of pigmented abaca and epoxy. I use UV pigments that will not fade so the sculpture can be displayed in indirect sunlight. I recommend it be displayed out of direct sunlight for best results.
