Did you know that roses are the official flower for the United States? This explains the Rose Garden at the White House. The rose has long been a symbol of love, beauty, and affection. And each color rose holds a different meaning. A red rose means ‘I love you’ and is a sign of romance; pink represents happiness and admiration; a white rose symbolizes innocence and purity; orange means desire and excitement; yellow represents cheer and happiness, although some folklore considered it to mean jealousy. Oh, sounds juicy. The material I used to create this painting, abaca fiber and pure color, captures the velvety textures and vibrant shades of the red rose. Why not add a hint of roses to your decor all year round with this painting inspired by the red rose?

How to display:

The colors and textures in the painting will not fade or discolor when displayed in indirect sunlight. The surface is coated with an acid-free covering so it may be displayed without glass and up to four feet to a water source (coffee centers and bathrooms seem to be popular places to display my work these days).

I purchased your flower-inspired painting for my daughter, whose birthday is in March. She just loves it! It’s inspired by the daffodil, and it brought so much needed color to her home which is in the woods so the bright yellow really helps to brighten up her space.
