TONIGHT!

As an art history professor, I have been enamored with stained glass and its rich history since early in my studies. I have been fortunate to visit many of the world’s great cathedrals including in Chartres, Salisbury, Paris, Dublin, and Arlington Street Church, Boston.

In this lecture, free and open to the public, I will cover the brief history of stained glass, and provide a close examination of the stories told through some of the best known windows including the Charlemagne Window (Chartres), Bishop Suger offering the church to Saint Louis (San Denis), and the Louis Comfort Tiffany Windows (Arlington Street Church, Boston).

7:00 PM, Boxford Community Center, 10 Elm Street, Boxford, MA.

I hope you can join me, it will be fun and informative.
