November can be a pretty damp and dreary month on the coast, but there’s one classic flower that really brightens up life this month—the always beautiful Chrysanthemum. Besides being colorful and cheerful, they’re also thought to attract good luck, friendship, honesty, and happiness. Chrysanthemums symbolize youth, loyalty, love, passion, friendship, and get-well-wishes in Chinese and Japanese cultures. Buddhism says that chrysanthemums emit Yang energy (active energy). It is even believed to prevent grey hair! Can’t beat that!
How to display:
The colors and textures will not fade or discolor when displayed in indirect sunlight. The surface is coated with an acid-free covering so it may be displayed without glass and near a water source (coffee centers and bathrooms seem to be popular places to display my work these days).
