Red Rose Garden. 9 x 9 x 1 maple frame.

$145.00

This painting was inspired by the flower for the month of June, the rose. The rose is also the national flower for the United States. The rose has long been a symbol of love, beauty, and affection. And each color rose holds a different meaning. A red rose means ‘I love you’ and is a sign of romance; pink represents happiness and admiration; a white rose symbolizes innocence and purity; orange means desire and excitement; yellow represents cheer and happiness, although some folklore considered it to mean jealousy. A rose by a different name is just as lovely.

Elegant, Delicate, and tranquil is how I would describe Meg Black’s paintings. Upon viewing Meg’s work I was encapsulated and was immediately brought to the moment portrayed in the painting. The realistic nature scenes are absolutely magical.  Any room can be uplifted with the positive energy of her pieces, they are breathtaking to say the least. The aura behind her work leaves you with a warm feeling and truly makes me feel peaceful and relaxed.
