Sailing through the clouds, high above the world

I was flying home from visiting my son in St. Louis when I looked out the plane window and saw a sea of clouds, a brilliant sky, and the feeling of light beyond the horizon. It was one of the most spectacular views I’d ever seen. I had my drawing pencils with me in my carry on bag so I started sketching the view before it disappeared. I hope I captured just some of the beauty this fleeting view afforded me.
