The joy of watching and listening to the waves as they crash along the ocean’s shore inspired this small scale free standing sculpture. Creating ocean wave inspired sculptures is a new direction for me. I’ve been working on this idea for a few years now and can finally share them with my collectors. The sculpture is made of pigmented abaca and epoxy. I use UV pigments that will not fade so the sculpture can be displayed in indirect sunlight. I do recommend it be displayed in direct sunlight.

I just love the colors and glasslike quality of these sculptures. So easy to decorate with and I’ve given a few as gifts. Always a big hit with the recipent.
