The Impressionists loved to paint the illusion of dappled sunlight. I too have become enamored by this challenging task. For me, it begins during my early morning bike ride when I pass by the gardens in my neighborhood. I thought of this when I painted this painting, with its burst of color and palette. The abundance of wild asters, daisies, sunflowers, and lupine inspired me to capture the feel of these natural beauties before winter takes hold of us once more. I hope you enjoy collecting this painting as much as I did in creating it.
