I love wildflowers, the way they grow in cracks and crevices, along highways, and pop up along beaten dirt paths. The presence of wild asters, daisies, sunflowers, and lupine inspired this painting with its burst of color, textures, and light. My goal was to capture the feel of these untamed bundles of color before winter blows her cold breath on their tender blooms. I hope you enjoy collecting this painting as much as I did in creating it.
